Aunt Robin's

One of our family New Year's Resolutions this year was to memorize  "The Living Christ" ... (a 600 + word document explaining what "Mormons" believe about Jesus Christ).  The incentive of meeting this goal, was a trip to Aunt Robin's house (near Yosemite).  This was a HUGE incentive to my little beasts.  The beasties prefer Aunt Robin's house to ANY and EVERY other kind of vacation.... so they worked hard... and we met our goal.

Let me show you why the beasts LOVE going to Aunt Robin's house so much....

First of all, it is a GORGEOUS custom built home on 80 acres of ancient oaks and pine forests...where the kids can run WILD....

She takes us 4 wheeling in her jeep....

She takes us beyond all those pesky little "no trespassing" signs to seriously COOL spots....with HUGE dandelions...

She takes us on tons of awesome hikes....

She lets the beasts ride her horses....

She even taught beast #1 (who is obsessed with horses) to command the horse physically and verbally, and to ride on her own holding the reigns...with out the "leash"....

She takes on picnics at "pools" where the kids can swim when it's HOT outside...

and the water is COLD ...

She takes us to firework shows on Bass Lake....

She takes us to the Circus....

She takes us fishing....

 And more hikes...
  to cool water falls....

She even goes to dinner with us when beast #5 is dressed like the Etrade baby...(the kids LOVE taking turns wearing these glasses in public places.)

Now, you can see WHY the beasts were SO WILLING to memorize such a lengthy document.  EVERYONE needs an Aunt Robin...AKA...the best incentive EVER!  She even told us we could bring our GUNS next time we visit....which means ONE thing.... we need to set a NEW family GOAL!!!!
